NORCAL BOAT, SPORT & RV SHOW

GREAT BEAR SHOW!

The Great Bear Show trainer Bob Steele will bring three or four of the big critters - claws, teeth and all! He currently works with 17 bears, all of them being rescued between 8 and 18 months of age from negative situations.

Visitors will be able to see the bears up close and they’ll also be able to see them on stage during presentations of The Great Bear Show.

“These are educational shows about bears,” said Steele whose animal facility is located in Jefferson in northeast Texas. “I’ll share the dos and don’ts of hiking in bear country, of camping in bear country, of being in bear country. I’ll be there to answer questions."

During each show, Steele will bring his bears out on stage individually to introduce them and talk about them.

Steele explained that while the bears really don’t do tricks on stage, some of them will sit up or stand on a barrel or dance around on command.

ULTIMATE MAN CAVE!

Need an escape from everyday life?

The Tuff Shed Weekender Cabin can provide that for you at whatever comfort level you decide. Call it a man or woman cave, a mini hunting/fishing lodge, a remote get-away or just a hangout.

These all-wood cabins with composite or metal roofs are made by Tuff Shed and one will be on display at the 2016 ExpoSure shows. The show model is expected to be 10-foot by 20-foot and 11 feet tall. It will be set up as a man cave with a big screen TV, chairs and sofa.

“There is a million uses for it,” said Walt O’Dell, general manager of Tuff Shed’s manufacturing facility in Portland. “It has been a big sell in the Pacific Northwest … in backyards, as studios, workshops, out in the woods on the back 40. There’s no stop in how it can be used. It’s more substantial than a tent, and you can lock it up.”

Tuff Shed, a 34-year-old company based in Denver, Colorado, has been making the Weekender series for the past six years. The cabins have been placed in such remote places as the Sawtooth Mountains in Idaho and in more public places such as downtown Denver and Portland.

Special Guest "Dakota Fred" Hurt formerly of the hit show, "Gold Rush" will be on hand to chat with his fans and demonstrate gold mining techniques! This is your  chance to meet the popular gold miner, snag a selfie and get an autograph!
